Just a short thought:

God is really good at listening.

I’ve slowly learned how important this trait is.

In my friendships and relationships, I really like to listen in order to respond.

But I’ve realized that when I’m on the other end, when I have problems and frustrations, I want people to just listen and empathize.

And I’ve grown to really strengthen my relationship with my Heavenly Father through prayer when I voice my frustrations, sadness, and heartaches to Him, as I would to a friend.

He is really good at just listening.

He doesn’t always respond or answer in the ways that I want. He knows what’s best for me and what timing I need.

But He always listens.
