Thank you. I needed that today. Cali, the Lord knows what each of us are going through. There is often no one but Him who knows the intimate battles we face. You are acting as an instrument in His hands to provide peace and inspiration during our turbulent times. Trust that. Even if you don’t get feedback. Trust in what He inspires you to write. Although it’s nice to get feedback, you may not, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t touched someone. This is my first time to comment, but in no way does it mean it’s my first time to be touched or greatly helped by your comments in your post. Recently you asked for feedback which is a fair request. I had a similar experience as a young women advisor. I would pray and study my heart out, and give what I felt were spiritually inspired lessons, but the girls would walk out of class and rarely comment on the lesson. In frustration, I went to the Lord in prayer. I was told that it was none of my business what they felt in the lesson. Huh?! It was His way of teaching me, “Don’t worry. I’ve got this! Your part is over. Have faith in me to do the rest. You have been called to this position by inspiration through your Bishop. You therefore put in the appropriate worthiness and study and prayer in your preparations. Seek not for your own glory in wanting a pat on the back after deliverance of the message. Leave that to me, in my own way and time. Forget yourself, and just continue to follow my ways. I will take care of you, and I’m definitely taking care of those you teach through my spirit. Thank you for following the spirit each and every time in sharing your inspired posts. You do make a difference, even if you don’t receive anything tangible back.
Hope this helps.
