He took his own life the day before Valentine’s Day. Every year as I see Valentine’s items in the store and on people’s houses I think, it’s that time of year again, and I feel very bad for his much shorted life and tragic death. Valentine’s now has a totally different meaning to me. I wait until the actual day to decorate in Honor of my brother and not just skipping over his death day like he never existed. But I can have happiness and joy on Valentine’s Day because that’s the day to think of all the love The Savior gives my brother and everyone with the precious gift of His Atoning sacrifice.
